The browser that
simplifies complexity

Wisrix blocks ads and trackers before they load, signs you in once with your Mirnint account, and packs a studio of built-in tools — reader mode, screenshots, translate, a sound optimizer, terminals and more — into one calm, private browser.

Everything inside

A full browser, and then some.

Security-first defaults with a studio of built-in tools — no extensions, no add-ons, no accounts to juggle. Here's the whole feature set.

Privacy & security

Ad & tracker shield

Ads, trackers and analytics scripts are stopped at the network level with EasyList & EasyPrivacy — no extensions needed. A per-page counter shows what was blocked.

Login with Mirnint

One secure sign-in with your Mirnint account unlocks the browser on any machine and signs you in to other Mirnint sites automatically — verified end-to-end against SSO.

Permissions that ask first

Camera, microphone, location and notifications must be granted per site. Everything is remembered per origin and resettable in Settings.

HTTPS & certificate safety

A lock for secure sites, a red "Not secure" for plain HTTP, invalid certificates refused, and a clean branded page when a site can't be trusted.

Sync across your devices

Bookmarks, history & settings

Everything syncs through Mirnint's servers, tied to your account — deletions included, conflicts resolved, on every device you sign in to.

Saved SSH connections

Your SSH connection profiles follow you across devices. Passwords and keys stay encrypted on each device only — never synced.

Session restore

Wisrix reopens the tabs you left — pinned, grouped and in order — every time you launch.

Tabs, your way

Vertical or horizontal tabs

A collapsible favicon rail down the side or a classic top strip — with pinned tabs and an optional bookmarks bar. Arrange it around how you work.

Tab groups

Group tabs with a custom name and colour, then collapse them to tuck a project away. SSH and terminal tabs group themselves automatically.

Dark, light & system theme

A calm Mirnint-branded theme in light or dark — or follow your OS. The theme even drives sites that support dark mode.

Fast navigation

Smart omnibox suggestions, a home button, full-screen video, and mouse side-buttons for back and forward — the fundamentals, done right.

Built-in tools

Reader mode

Strip a cluttered article down to clean, serif type with adjustable size — one click or Ctrl+Shift+R.

Screenshots & annotation

Capture a region, the viewport or the full page, then arrow, box, highlight, add text or blur out anything sensitive before you save or copy.

QR for any page

Turn the current URL into a QR code in a tap — hand a page off to your phone without typing a thing.

Translate pages

Read any page in your language — 12 languages, right from the toolbar.

Data usage dashboard

See how much data each site used this session and overall, how many trackers were blocked, and an estimate of the bandwidth you saved.

Managed downloads

A built-in downloads manager tracks progress, pause and resume — captured screenshots land there too.

Studio-grade audio

Sound Optimizer

Per-tab presets tuned like a mixing engineer: Vocal Isolation, Voice Focus, Pop, Bass Boost, Movie Dialog and a night-time loudness mode.

Vocal Isolation

Hear the voice, not the backing track — real-time centre-channel extraction pulls speech and vocals forward and pushes the music down.

Per-tab volume & mute

Give each tab its own level from 0 to 200% — quiet a noisy tab or boost a soft one — and mute any tab with a click.

Terminals & remote

Local terminal

Open a real shell on your machine in a browser tab — full colours, tab-completion and your usual tools, no separate app.

SSH terminal

Connect to any server over SSH from a tab, with saved connection profiles that sync — credentials stay encrypted on-device.

Remote machine control

Reach another machine by its Mirnint username — TeamViewer-style — with an accept prompt and optional auto-accept, all under Mirnint auth.

Screen share to Vindow

Share this machine's screen to your Vindow dashboard — lightweight, connect by selecting your Mirnint account, with server-enforced control.

Always current

Silent auto-updates

Updates download quietly in the background, are verified cryptographically, and apply on restart with a one-click "Relaunch to update" pill.

Mirnint notifications

Desktop notifications delivered through Mirnint's relay, so services like TellMe can reach you even where standard web push can't.

In the works

Android: when installing the APK, allow "install from unknown sources" if prompted.

AppImage: make it executable (chmod +x) and run. Deb: sudo dpkg -i wisrix_*.deb. Wisrix keeps itself updated automatically.

Windows: early releases are not yet code-signed, so SmartScreen may show "Windows protected your PC" — click More infoRun anyway.
